Bible vs. Political Positions

I woke up today with this thought: Is anyone experiencing any spiritual or personal issues with the official views and current positions of the Political Elites and the fact that their stated views are direct conflicts and contradictions to the Christian Bible? Is the Bible completely true and the real eternal word of God or is the Bible like some of the Elite and Politically Correct would suggest – outdated?
